In the year 206X, in the city of Neo-Tokyo, our protagonist Reika （零歌） is finding much more reliable band members in rental robots than in the ever-vanishing class of artists and musicians.

With voice modulation and robotic precision, she is able to accurately reproduce musical requests and direction from an entity called USER. Through some unknown exchanges, Reika somehow comes out a little ahead.

Although she laments technically being in some kind of cover band, she is in the process of sketching out her debut album.

Reika came up with the band name NO HOPE not completely from the bleak, dystopian reality she exists in — sometimes the lack of hope takes the form of the KEY that you need.
